Army Painter - Colour Primer

Colour Primer - Greenskin
Chciał bym dzisiaj przedstawić Wam kolejny produkt firmy Army Painter z jakim miałem do czynienia w swoim warsztacie. Ten produkt to podkład Colour Primer w kolorze Greenskin. Cel w jakim go zakupiłem to konieczność pomalowania dużego oddziału Savage Orcs do mojej armii Warhammer Fantasy Battle. Za puszkę farby 400ml zapłacicie około 38 PLN (12 EURO).

Today I wanted to introduce you to another product of the Army Painter I have in my workshop. This product is a Colour Primer in color Greenskin. The reason I bought it in what is the need to paint a large unit of Savage Orcs to my army of Warhammer Fantasy Battle. You will bay 400ml can of paint  about 38 PLN (12 EURO).

Instrukcja użycia z opakowania:

USE:
1. Shake for minimum 1 minute
2. Spray at a distance of maximum 20 cm. (no further)
3. Spray in long burst whils moving the spray back and forth

I decided to develop a quick way to paint 30 minis. I gave this to one model. The plan was simple - to cover the entire model's Army Painter primer, apply the basic colors and cover the entire model paint a wash. This is the mini after applying the primer and adding a few basic colors.

The effect, however, did not meet my expectations. I used DOT 4 brake fluid to remove all paint (including how to write about in later articles). The effect surprised me. Normally expect to get the paint after washing with clean, gray, plastic figurine. Obtain such an effect on many models, treated with paint, I used the primers company Games Workshop. This time was different. Consider the following picture:

Army Painter Colour Primer when applied to the model has penetrated deeply into the plastic. I tried to use acrylic paint remover also but it did not help. Look at another picture where you can compare this figure with a clean, untouched model.

Comparison with the clear mini.

In summary, the Army Painter Colour Primer provides a very good, thorough coverage of the model. Paint is sprayed in a very delicate cloud (compliance prior to use in a closed room!) Paint, in the case of plastic and resin models, it should be applied according to instructions from a minimum distance of 20 cm. Using paints with too close angle may result in damage to small parts of the model and the smooth surface (roughness will be)!
As you can see from my experience Army Painter Colour Primer strongly penetrates into the material such as plastic, leaving a trace, even after trying to wash the paint strong chemicals. This product provides a complete coverage of the surface giving a thin, matt surface. Available from the manufacturer's colors are completely different subject, but certainly everyone will find something useful for themselves. The color palette is constantly being expanded.

Polecam wszystkim ten produkt.
I recommend this product.
