Pin with plastic cord.

In the article  How to prepare figure for painting? Tomek showed you how to prepare a figure for painting. One of the stages is a pin. It depends on strengthening connections figurines elements with thin wire. And what if they use plastic instead of wire?

W artykule How to prepare figure for painting? Tomek pokazał Wam jak przygotować figurkę do malowania. Jednym z etapów jest pinowanie. Polega ono na wzmocnieniu połączeń elementów figurki cienkim drutem. A co gdyby wykorzystać plastik zamiast drutu?

Pins at the wire (usually just a paper clip) gives very good results. Combining elements of a strong and often resistant to collapse such figures. Certainly not as much as I do, you face problems while using this method. The biggest problem is to drill holes in two connected components, so that then fit together perfectly. Clip is stiff and if the holes are offset from each other by up to 1mm then it is difficult to combine them perfectly without the strong bending a paper clip. My idea is simple, pictures say you more than my words.

What will we need?
Co będziemy potrzebować?

The most important feature is the plastic "links" (cord), which are trailed tags to the newly purchased clothes. Theoretically, could also use a thick fishing line. The advantage is that this type of material is flexible and easy to bend.

Najważniejszym elementem są plastikowe "linki", którymi przyczepiane są metki do nowo zakupionych ubrań. Teoretycznie można by też wykorzystać grubą żyłkę wędkarską. Zaletą jest to, iż tego typu materiał jest elastyczny i łatwo się wygina.

I have two simple elements of figures, over which I work.
Muszę połączyć dwa proste elementy figurki, nad którą właśnie pracuję.

Drill holes of 1 mm in two connected components.
Nawierciłem otwory wiertłem o grubości 1mm w obydwu łączonych elementach.

In the first part of the mini pasted cord using glue"super glue".
W pierwszy elelement wkleiłem linkę, używając kleju typu "super glue".

I cut off the excess.
Nadmiar uciąłem.

Pourthe glue in the hole of the second element and connected everything together. The flexibility of the plastic links allowed me to fit perfectly together both figures elements.

Wprowadziłem klej w otwór drugiego elementu i połączyłem wszystko razem. Elastyczność plastikowej linki pozwoliła mi idealnie dopasować z sobą oba elementy figurki.

Done!
Gotowe!

For larger models can be used to try to string a guitar instead of a plastic cord or fishing line. What are your ways to strengths combine elements of mianitre?

Przy większych modelach można by spróbować użyć struny gitarowej zamiast plastikowej linki lub żyłki wędkarskiej. A jakie są wasze sposoby na mocne łączenie elementów figurki?

Have fun painting,
