How to fast paint Dark Elf Warriors?
W grze Warhammer Fantasy Battle nie podoba mi się chyba tylko jeden aspekt - malowania dużej ilości, praktycznie identycznych modeli. Preferuję jednak grę wyłącznie pomalowanymi figurkami i to na co najmniej średnim poziomie jakości. Musiałem więc opracować optymalną metodę pomalowania 40 Dark Elf Warriors. Przepraszam za brak zdjęć w niektórych punktach ale modele były malowane zanim jeszcze założyłem ten blog.
Do malowania użyłem farb Citadel ze starej palety, ale w opisie będę bazował również na nowych kolorach zgodnie z Citadel Paint Conversion Chart. Oto lista użytych kolorów:
For the painting I used Citadel paints from old pallets, but in the description I'll be also using new colors, according to the Citadel Paint Conversion Chart. Here is a list of the colors used:

Aby przyśpieszyć malowanie całego oddziału pracowałem jednocześnie nad 20 figurkami. Warto rozważyć taki sposób malowania.

1. Przygotuj model do malowania, wytnij go z ramek, usuń wszelkie linie podziału formy. Jeśli model jest plastikowy, jak nasze elfy, to najprościej użyć do tego celu nożyka. Ten etap jest bardzo ważny - nie lekceważ go, nie zajmie Ci wiele czasu.

Prepare the model for painting, cut it from the frame, remove all lines of form. If the model is plastic, as our elves, it is easiest to use for this purpose modeling blade. This step is very important - do not underestimate it, it will not take you long.
2. Pokryj model najlepiej czarnym podkładem w spray'u np. Chaos Black Spray .
Cover model with black primer spray such as Chaos Black Spray.
3. Figurki Dark Elf Warriors w 80% składają się ze zbroi. Żeby znacznie przyśpieszyć malowanie pokryłem całą figurkę kolorem Ironbreaker (Chainmail) przy użyciu aerografu. Jeśli nie masz aerografu możesz użyć farby w spray'u Plate Mail Metal firmy Army Painter.
Miniss Dark Elf Warriors with 80% consist of armor. To significantly accelerate the paint processcovered the entire mini color Ironbreaker (Chainmail) by using the airbrush. If you do not have an airbrush you can use spray paint Plate Mail Metal Army Painter.
4. Pomaluj wszystkie pozostałe elementy modelu podstawowymi kolorami wymienionymi na początku artykułu.
Paint all the other elements of the model basic colors listed at the beginning of the article.

5. Przy użyciu małego pędzla nanieś wash Reikland Fleshshade (Ogryn Flesh) na cała twarz figurki. Po jej wyschnięciu średniej wielkości pędzlem nanieś wash Nuln Oil (Badab Black) dokładnie na całą figurkę poza pomalowaną już wcześniej twarzą. W ten sposób uzyskałeś najprostsze cienie na całym modelu.
Using a small brush put a wash Reikland Fleshshade (Ogryn Flesh) full-face figures. Once it has dried, put a medium sized brush wash Nuln Oil (Badab Black) exactly on the whole mini, except already painted face. In this way you obtain the simplest shadows around the model.

6. Większości graczy których znam tak pomalowany model w zupełności wystarcza. Jeśli jednak chcesz by wyglądał jeszcze lepiej możesz wykonać proste i szybkie rozjaśnienia. Poczekaj, aż naniesione w punkcie 5 wash'e dokładnie wyschną! Podstawowe kolory użyte w punkcie 4 rozjaśniamy następująco:

7. Pomaluj tarcze w jednakowy sposób dla całego oddziału według własnego uznania.
Paint the shields in the same way for the whole unit at its discretion.
Dark Elf Warrior gotowy! Pozostało zrobienie podstawki i ewentualne pokrycie figurki matowym lakierem zabezpieczającym.
The Dark Elf Warrior is ready! Left make a base, and cover mini with matt varnish for protection.
