How to make a simple rubble base?

This article is a short "step by step" of the process of creating scenic base for French Revolutionary, 1789.

Ten artykuł to krótki "step by step" z procesu tworzenia podstawki pod figurkę French Revolutionary, 1789.

Inventing a suitable base was a real challenge. I've long watched the finite model, and searched the Internet to find inspiration.

Wymyślenie odpowiedniej podstawki było prawdziwym wyzwaniem. Długo przyglądałem się skończonemu modelowi i przeszukiwałem Internet by znaleźć natchnienie.

I decided to create a rubble on the base. At the beginning I put some prepared sooner boards, a pair of shoes with different figures and additional items scenery. The whole glued using Super Glue.

Postanowiłem utworzyć na podstawce gruzowisko. Na początek umieściłem kilka przygotowanych prędzej desek, parę butów z innej figurki i dodatkowe elementy scenerii. Całość przykleiłem klejem Super Glue.

Most of the are o the base will be covered with bricks. I used a bricks company Juwella.
Większość powierzchni podstawki, będzie pokryta cegłami. Wykorzystałem cegły firmy Juwella.

First I glued a large number of undamaged bricks. To this I've used liquid adhesive "Sand & Gravel Glue" from AMMO. Later, I'll show you how to apply it

Najpierw przykleiłem dużą ilość, głównie całych, nieuszkodzonych cegieł. Do ich przyklejenia użyłem płynnego kleju "Sand & Gravel Glue" firmy AMMO. Później pokażę Wam jak go zastosować

I made another batch of bricks. This time I've broke the brick and heavily crumbled them.
Przygotowałem kolejną porcję cegieł. Tym razem cegły połamałem i mocno pokruszyłem.

When the glue is dry (a few hours), I've showered the whole area on the base by crushed bricks.
Kiedy klej wysechł (kilka godzin), zasypałem podstawkę pokruszonymi cegłami.

Again, I used the "Sand & Gravel Glue" from AMMO.
Ponownie użyłem "Sand & Gravel Glue" firmy AMMO.

The adhesive is then applied using a pipette. It's liquid (like water) so we instill the drops wherever bricks need to be stick. We look forward to a few hours (depending on the amount of glue) until everything is dry.

Now we need to paint the edges of the bricks to increase the contrast. Thus the brick will be more visible.
Teraz pomalujemy krawędzie cegieł, aby zwiększyć kontrast. Dzięki temu cegły będą lepiej widoczne.

I used the old, larger brush and "dry brush" technique .
Użyłem do tego starego, większego pędzla i techniki "suchego pędzla".

At the end I covered the brick with plenty of pigments. I used three shades. Pigments was not fixed in the end.
Na sam koniec przysypałem cegły dużą ilością pigmentów. Zastosowałem trzy odcienie. Pigmentów nie utrwalałem.

And this is finished base.
A tak prezentuje się skończona podstawka.
