INBOX050 - Jacobite Highlander, 1746 (H&V)

Today, next model unpacking. This time, the second bust from H&V in my collection. Bust smaller than usual because it's 1:12 scale.

Dzisiaj kolejne rozpakowanie modelu. Tym razem drugie już popiersie w mojej kolekcji od H&V. Popiersie mniejsze niż zwykle bo w skali 1:12.

The model is packed in a nice box with a hard cardboard. The box is sealed with tape, which ensures us that we open them first.

Model zapakowany jest w ładne pudełko z twardego kartonu. Pudełko jest zaklejone taśmą, która gwarantuje nam, że otwieramy je jako pierwsi

All bust components are protected with sponge.
Wszystkie elementy popiersia są zabezpieczone gąbką.

As you can see parts are not too many. And very well, we do not lose a lot of time for assembling the model.
Jak widzicie części nie ma zbyt wiele. I bardzo dobrze, nie stracimy dużo czasu na złożenie modelu w całość.

In the package are two heads option inclluded. We can choose one of them.
W zestawie mamy opcjonalnie dwie głowy. Możemy wybrać jeden z nich.

Now I will show you their differences, between 1:10 and 1:12 scale. Bust from H&V is much smaller. I think that this scale may be interested in a few of you.

Teraz zobrazuję Wam róznicę pomiędzy skalą 1:10 a 1:12. Popiersie od H&V jest znacznie mniejsze. Myślę, że ta skala możę zainteresować kilkoro z Was.

It's how bust looks with both heads. As you can see, the quality of the cast is very good. We do not have too many elements that we need to correct. The surfaces are very smooth.

Tak prezentuje się popiersie z dwoma opcjami głowy. Jak sami widzicie, jakość odlewu jest bardzo dobra. Nie mamy tu zbyt wiele elementów, które musimy poprawić. Powierzchnie są bardzo gładkie.

And it looks like a bust is ready to paint.
A tak wygląda popiersie gotowe do malowania.

Have fun painting,
ARBAL

  1. Hi Arbal!
The Historical Series from "Heroes and Villains" is indeed, very fine. I have Hamlet waiting on my workbench and can confirm its high quality. Also, I think the new bust serie "Magna Historica" of FeR Miniatures, brand owned by Fernando Ruiz Ceano, launched after his depart from H&V, is really great. Hope see you attack one, I'm sure you'll like it. Have a good painting session!

  2. Excited everytime you get a new bust! Very interesting that it comes with two heads. You could use the second as a face study! Good choice on the two heads too, the bearded one was my fav as well!
