How to make slimy grime effect?

How to make slimy grime effect on the model.

Jak zrobić efekt obślizgłego zabrudzenia na modelu.

Rozpocząłem malowanie figurki wikinga firmy Nocturna Models.

I started painting figures Viking Nocturna Models. One of its main components is part of a boat. I decided to paint it in the most realistic way. For this purpose, I used the effects of AK Interactive. Photos in this tutorial show the figure has not yet fully completed model. Ultimately, I will use more of Vallejo water effects. But back to the main topic of this short tutorial.

Before we can apply any effects of dirt, damage, etc. we need to be fully painted model. In this case, the hull of the ship is ready. Do not pay attention to the white base will be painted at the end.

2. Do zrobienia efektu obślizgłych zielonych zabrudzeń na kadłubie okrętu użyjemy trzech środków firmy AK Interactive:

To do the effect of slimy green stains on the hull of the ship we use three products of AK Interactive:

AK 026 Slimy Grime Dark
AK 027 Slimy Grime Light
AK 011 White Spirit

These two greenish effects are very versatile. It can be used on ships, buildings, vehicles, etc. If you're a Warhammer player they are perfect for Nurgle models.

Nakładamy większą ilość, niż będzie nam to potrzebne. Ewentualny nadmiar usuniemy.

We start with the effect of AK 027 Slimy Grime Light. Keep in mind that before you use shake container and mix the contents! The product applied by brush directly from the container.. we put more than we will need it. Remove any excess. We do not need to rush the drying time is a few minutes.

4. W następnym kroku nakładamy punktowo niewielkie ilości AK 026 Slimy Grime Dark w kilku miejscach aby zwiększyć ilość odcieni.

In the next step we put a dotted small amount of AK 026 Slimy Grime Dark at several locations in order to increase the number of tones.

The last step is to blend and remov of excess. We use for this purpose the best flat brush. Soak the brush in AK 011 White Spirit and smearing green effect in accordance with our needs, and remove the excess.

6. Całość pozostawiamy do wyschnięcia i ostatecznie możemy pokryć model bezbarwnym matowym lakierem.

The whole is left to dry, and finally we can cover model of clear matt varnish.

Execution of this effect on the model it took me less than 15 minutes.

Have fun painting,
ARBAL
