W ostatnim czasie bardzo często napotykałem wzmianki o produktach firmy Gamers Grass w wielu różnych miejscach. Firma ta produkuje nie tylko znane wszystkim kępki trawy (tufts) ale również gotowe podstawki do figurek gamingowych, laserowo wycinane roślinki oraz bitsy do podstawek i dioram. Tym ostatnim przyjrzę się dzisiaj bliżej razem z Wami.

PACKAGING
For this review, I stocked up on two sets of bits, available e.g. in the REBEL.pl store. All Gamers Grass products are packed in plastic blisters. Inside you will find nothing more than bits and a paper insert.
Do tej recenzji zaopatrzyłem się w dwa zestawy bitsów dostępnych np. w sklepie REBEL.pl. Wszystkie produkty Gamers Grass zapakowane są w plastikowe blistery. W środku nie znajdziemy nic więcej poza bitsami i papierową wkładką.
SiOCAST
First, let's look at the material from which this product is made. And here's an interesting fact. This is my first time with a products made in technology called SiOCAST. The material used is "thermoplastic resin". When you hold these elements in your hand, you immediately feel that it is not ordinary resin. This material behaves slightly differently, but the feelings are very positive. I recommend that you familiarize yourself with this technology here.
Na początek przyjrzyjmy się materiałowi z jakiego wykonano ten produkt. I tutaj ciekawostka. Pierwszy raz spotykam się z technologią o nazwie SiOCAST. Wykorzystany materiał to "thermoplastic resin". Kiedy trzymacie te elementy w dłoni to od razu czujecie, że nie jest to zwykła żywica. Materiał ten zachowuje się trochą inaczej ale odczucia są bardzo pozytywne. Polecam Wam zainteresować się tą technologią tutaj.

Gamers Grass: Statues and Columns
"Basing Bits Statues and Columns are scaled fragments of architectural elements of a past ruined monument. Ornamental columns and sculptures, eroded and broken in small pieces, will be the right props to build your antique classic flavoured scenarios. Combined with GamersGrass Basing Bits Temple, they are perfect for your ancient world reconstructions and sagas.
The package contains a lot of elements. The manufacturer does not specify what scale of models these bits were prepared for. However, I estimate that you can easily use them for standard 28-32mm miniatures.
W opakowaniu znajdziemy naprawdę dużo elementów. Producent nie podaje do jakiej skali modeli zostały przygotowane te bitsy. Oceniam jednak, że spokojnie wykorzystacie je do standardowych 28-32mm figurek.
In the photo below you can see all the bits organized on my desk. In the blister I found 15 columns of various types and 8 statues. They represent varying degrees of destruction.
Poniżej na zdjęciu możecie zobaczyć uporządkowane wszystkie bitsy na moim biurku. W blistrze znalazłem 15 kolumn różnego rodzaju oraz 8 posągów. Reprezentują one różny stopień zniszczenia.
The SiNOCAST material is really impressive. Bits are light, durable and do not crumble. They can be processed quite easily. Details are clearly visible. The dividing lines of the mold are hardly visible and if they are present, they can be easily removed with a knife.
Materiał SiNOCAST naprawdę robi wrażenie. Bitsy sa lekkie, wytrzymałe, nie kruszą się. Da się je dość łatwo obrabiać. Detale są dobrze widoczne. Linie podziału formy są słabo widoczne i jeśli już są to łatwo można je usunąć nożykiem.
Gamers Grass: Temple
"Basing Bits Temple are scaled fragments of architectural elements of a bygone ruined temple. Fragmented columns, broken pavements and sculptures, small pieces of ornamented friezes and sculptural panels, all with an antique classic flavour, are perfect for your ancient world reconstructions and sagas.
The second set of bits is "Temple", which complements the previous column blister. Inside we will again find a really huge number of different elements.
Drugi zestaw bitsów to "Temple", który jest uzupełnieniem poprzedniego blistra z kolumnami. W środku ponownie znajdziemy naprawdę ogromną ilość zróżnicowanych elementów.
I counted 44 pieces. Quite a lot, the blister is really stuffed to the brim.
Naliczyłem 44 sztuki. Całkiem sporo, blister naprawdę wypchany jest po brzegi.
Below are some close-ups so you can look at the details. In my opinion, the SiOCAST material really does the trick. This set includes cool bits to use on bases in various scales. It is also perfect for any dioramas.
Poniżej kilka zbliżeń, tak abyście mogli przyjrzeć się detalom. Moim zdaniem materiał SiOCAST naprawdę daje radę. Ten zestaw zawiera fajne bitsy do wykorzystania na podstawkach scenicznych w różnej skali. Idealnie nada się też do wszelkich dioram.

SUMMARY
Personally, as always, I gather this type of materials because you never know what will be useful when creating a scenic base or diorama :) I recommend you to take an interest in the Gamers Grass brand because it is worth it. I will show you their other products in the near future.
