I continue to fill in the gaps in my workshop and introduce new things to it. Below is part 14 of the "shopping chronicle" :)

Weathering Effects (Dirty Down)

I also picked up some aging effects from Dirty Down. You can buy them in Poland without any problems. Besides, they are quite popular in our community. They are dilutable in water. They look like effects I have used in the past from the now defunct company Modelmates. I will test them more thoroughly and share my impressions with you on the blog.

Zdobyłem również efekty do postarzania od Dirty Down. Bez problemu kupicie je w Polsce. Zreszta są dośc popularne w naszym środowisku. Są rozcieńczalne w wodzie. Wyglądają jak stosowane przeze mnie w przeszłości efekty nieistniejącej już firmy Modelmates. Przetestuje je dokładniej i podziele się z Wami wrażeniami na blogu.

Brush Cleaner and Repair Gel (GSW)

Two new products from Green Stuff World in my workshop, namely Repair Gel  and Brush Cleaner. I mainly use synthetic brushes, but both products work great. I have been testing them for 2 months now and my opinion is positive. Brush Cleaner cleans all paint residues from the brush bristles very well. The gel shapes the bristles. Both products are conveniently dispensed directly onto the brush from the bottles. They are thick. If you do not have any such products in your workshop, it is worth considering these.

Dwa nowe produkty od Green Stuff World w moim warsztacie, a mianowicie Repair Gel oraz Brush Cleaner. Używam głównie pędzli syntetycznych ale oba produkty sprawdzają się wysmienicie. Testuje je już 2 miesiące i moja opinia jest pozytywna. Brush Cleaner bardzo dobrze czyści wszelkie pozostałości farb z włosia pędzla. Żel z koleji kształtuje włosie. Oba produkty wygodnie dozuje się bezpośrednio na pędzel z buteleczek. Sa gęste. Jeśli nie posiadacie żadnych tego typu środków w swoim warsztacie to warto rozważyć te produkty.

Soap for modelling brushes (Rebel)

Another product as part of my "take care of your brushes" project. This time a completely natural product. Soap based on linseed oil. Apparently it works wonders on dirty brushes and, interestingly, it is a completely Polish product from Rebel. Tests are in progress, I will share the results soon.

Kolejny specyfik w ramach mojego projektu "zadbaj o pędzle". Tym razem całkowicie naturalny produkt. Mydło na bazie oleju lnianego. Podobno czyni cuda z zabrudzonymi pędzlami i co ciekawe jest całkowicie polskim produktem firmy Rebel. Testy w toku, wynikami podzielę się w najbliższym czasie.

Maxx Matt Varnish - Ultramate (GSW)

I bought this varnish mainly out of curiosity. Short and to the point, it really is super matte. It works.

Nabyłem ten lakier głównie z ciekawości. Krótko i na temat, rzeczywiście jest super matowy. Sprawdza się.

Cyanoacrylate Glue (GSW)

Standard Super Glue. Two different consistencies, watery and gel. There is no magic here, it does its job :)

Standardowy klej typu Super Glue. Dwie różne konsystencje, wodnisty i żel. Nie ma tu żadnej magii, spełnia swoje zadanie :)

Snow Textures & Liquid Frost (GSW)

Two ingredients to create snow and frost effect. I tested the snow and it is amazing. You can read more in my article here. I haven't tested Liquid Frost yet.

Dwa specyfiki do stworzenia śniegu oraz efektu mrozu. Śnieg przetestowałem i jest rewelacyjny. Więcej przczytacie w moim artykule tutaj. Liquid Frost jeszcze nie przetestowałem.

Vignettes Acrylic Mud (AMMO)

New textural pastes for bases. It's a really very convenient product to use. I have been using them for many years. This time I decided to test AMMO products. I updated my workshop because the previous Vallejo textures that I had had dried up with age.

Nowe pasty teksturalne do podstawek. To naprawdę bardzo wygodny w użyciu produkt. Stosuje je od wielu lat. Tym razem postanowiłem przetestować produkty AMMO. Uzupełniłem swój warsztat bowiem poprzednie tekstury Vallejo, które posiadałem wyschły ze starości.

GROUND TEXTURES (GSW)

Standard textures for bases or dioramas. They work like most products of this type available on the market. GSW offers various colors and grain sizes.

Standardowe tekstury do podłoża podstawek lub dioram. Działają jak większość tego typu produktów dostępnych na ryku. GSW ma w ofercie różne kolory i różną ziarnistość. 

Brushes (Army Painter, AMMO)

As I wrote above, I intend to reanimate some old brushes. However, I invested in the now popular Dry Brush brushes from Army Painter. I wonder if this round shape will work better. I plan to paint further large quantities of figures from Hero Quest expansions using Army Painter Speedpaints 2.0 and the slapchop technique. I will also test these brushes. I also supplemented the workshop with one better quality AMMO brush - Premium Marta Kolinsky 2/0. I'm curious how it will work because I'm used to synthetic brushes.

Jak już pisałem powyżej, zamierzam reanimować troche starych pędzli. Zainwestowałem jednak w popularne teraz pędzle do techniki Dry Brush od Army Painter. Jestem ciekaw czy ten okrągły kształt sprawdzi się lepiej. Planuje pomalować kolejne duże ilości figurek z dodatków do gry Hero Quest z użyciem farb Army Painter Speedpaints 2.0 i techniki slapchop także przetestuje te pędzle. Uzupełniłem równiez warsztat w jeden lepsej jakości pędzel AMMO - Premium Marta Kolinsky 2/0. Jestem ciekaw jak się sprawdzi bowiem jestem przyzwyczajony do pędzli syntetycznych.
